I love to write. I’m not a best selling author. I have no award, and I’m not even trained. But I love how the words flow as they dig deeper into the heart, excavate the experiences and the warmth they generate – especially when someone occasionally acknowledges that they found something in what I wrote, or what they read in my writing. Writing allows me to be free, to have fun and play!
Meet my friend – Kumar. He loves to paint. He’s not a professional artist. He has no special technique, neither is he trained! But, he loves how the brush feels as it dips into the color and moves across the canvas! He says painting allows him to be free, to have fun and play!
This is the beauty of a hobby – not a vocation for livelihood. I’m sure, you have one that is as much or more fun!
Wonderful side-effect of my hobby is that I can converse with myself. Helps me find ways – how I can block myself, free myself and be with myself!
My friend tells me that his painting talks to him and let’s him find how he believes in himself and also how he stops himself from creating whatever he wants! It seems this is where he meets his inner-voice : THE JUDGE!
I feel the same – every time I meet my mascot!
