Sky

September 21, 2024
Open as the sky, vast and true,
Embracing sun, stars, moonlit hue.
Clouds may gather, rain may fall,
Yet it welcomes each, it welcomes all.

Snow may drift or skies stay clear,
In its boundless heart, none disappear.
It holds no judgment, makes no plea—
In its embrace, all are free.

So keep your heart as wide as sky,
With space for every small joy to fly.
Let it stay or drift away,
Be untouchable, vast as sky.

Distance

September 15, 2024
We need the space to truly see,
And silence soft to hear,
Sleep to fuel our wakefulness,
And shed the weight of fear.

When senses drown in cluttered things,
Their sharpness fades away,
But when we clear the crowded air,
They bloom, alive, and stay.

Guru

September 7, 2024
The teacher knows there’s naught to teach,
So all who seek, he kindly meets.
The lover sees none to adore,
Thus gives his heart to rich and poor.

The master learns no ground is bound,
So everywhere, his soul is found.
