In life’s ledger, costs are clear,
The good things cherished, hold dear.
Unnecessary, they weigh like frost,
Not worth a penny, nor a lost.

Awareness gleams, a guiding light,
Distinguishing value, from fleeting sight.
In choices made, the key we find,
To treasure true, in heart and mind.

How can someone else dictate what you feel?
Emotions dance in hearts, a reel.
Your soul’s song, only you can hear,
In every joy and every tear.
So let no voice steer your emotion’s flight,
For only you can paint your inner light.
