Mother

She has no mind that’s hers alone,
Works with the thoughts the people own.

Good to the kind and to the flawed,
True goodness in her heart is awed.

Trusts those faithful, trusts those not,
True trust is what she’s always sought.

Her mind, like space, vast and clear,
Misunderstood, yet ever near.

In her wisdom, all confide,
She is understanding, far and wide.

Free spirit

In quest of knowledge, we gain each day,
In spiritual practice, we let go, they say.
Less and less force, till non-action is found,
In doing nothing, completeness is crowned.
True mastery flows, by letting things be,
Uninterfered, it sets the spirit free.

Free will

What makes you free is not what you own,
But the peace in what you let go.
Freedom lies not in what you gain,
But in the chains you disdain.

Attachment’s not in what you cling,
But in those who to you, they bring.
To be free is a life’s embrace,
Not a goal, but a boundless grace.
