Cowardice

Creating shadows where it lies.
New ways to flee, new depths to hide,
Its dance, a maze where fears abide.
But bravery, plain and unrefined,
Knows no cunning, no clever mind.
It strides ahead, through dark or flame,
Unafraid, it stakes its claim.
One bends, one stands, their paths apart—
A timid mind, a fearless heart.

His notebooks were a battleground of misspelled words, scrawled with more creativity than correctness.
