Surrender

The mind, a tool to drive our quest,
Towards the goals we hold with zest.
But once we reach that sought-for place,
It’s time to yield and seek heart’s grace.

To heal, we open hearts anew,
Like finding doctors who’ll see us through.
In trust, we must surrender whole,
For healing comes with letting go.

Hold not back, nor wander far,
For wisdom’s found right where you are.

Suspicion

When suspicion casts its shadowed guise,
We find ourselves in thorny ties,
Amongst the snakes with venom’s sting,
A garden where no joy can spring.

But if we choose a loving hand,
To touch the hearts across the land,
We might just find the roses bloom,
With fragrant joy, dispelling gloom.

Gratification

Days pass by, leaving no trace,
Nights take flight, an empty space.
Moments live in present light,
Time’s swift flow, day and night.

Life’s a stream where you belong,
Why ignore its fleeting song?
Awake, aware, cherish well,
It’s your story, yours to tell.
