The Weight of What We Hold

September 19, 2025

We often find ourselves holding on tightest to the very things that are slipping away. Perhaps it is because, in their resistance, they show us our deepest longings. They seem to promise permanence in a world where everything is passing. A role we once grew into but now no longer fits. A bond whose warmth has faded but whose memory we cannot release. A dream that once shone bright but now feels heavy. We cling harder even as life whispers that it may be time to let go.

Let go

September 6, 2024
Do your work, then step back,
With all your heart, embrace the track.
Like a parent, proud, lets go,
Trust the seeds you’ve sown will grow.

In the quiet, joy takes flight,
As what you’ve shaped seeks its own light.
With love, release, and let it be,
A work fulfilled, now truly free.

Unfurl

April 28, 2024
In a world where preaching meets its end,
Let lessons bloom, let wisdom blend.
Cease the chase, the relentless stroll,
For dreams unfurl when hearts console.

Release the grasp, let riches flow,
In giving, receiving, we all grow.
Embrace the unknown, let it ignite,
For truths await in the hidden light.

In letting go, we find our way,
In silence, in letting moments sway.
So heed this call, let the truth unfurl,
And let the world be, let it swirl.
