Things we don’t need, a hollow mass.
To impress those distant, we splurge and vie,
Yet true worth blooms where authenticity lies.

Life Ledger

In life’s ledger, costs are clear,
The good things cherished, hold dear.
Unnecessary, they weigh like frost,
Not worth a penny, nor a lost.

Awareness gleams, a guiding light,
Distinguishing value, from fleeting sight.
In choices made, the key we find,
To treasure true, in heart and mind.
