The Shiny City

September 21, 2025
✏️ Day 8 – The Shiny City
I closed my eyes and my pencil ran ahead of me.
When I opened them, a city glowed on the page.
Towers rose taller than mountains,
cars buzzed like fireflies,
windows blinked like stars that forgot the sky.

For a moment I felt so small—
a dot among a thousand lights.
But then, a smile spread across my face.
Even a dot can shine when it belongs to the city of dreams.

✨ Every page is a journey—what’s yours today?

The Weight of What We Hold

September 19, 2025

We often find ourselves holding on tightest to the very things that are slipping away. Perhaps it is because, in their resistance, they show us our deepest longings. They seem to promise permanence in a world where everything is passing. A role we once grew into but now no longer fits. A bond whose warmth has faded but whose memory we cannot release. A dream that once shone bright but now feels heavy. We cling harder even as life whispers that it may be time to let go.

The Star Page

September 17, 2025

✏️ Day 4 – The Star Page
Tonight, the stars winked at me.
I dotted them on my page.
But my pencil kept going until the sky was full.
Suddenly, I had my own galaxy.

✨ Close your eyes, pick a place, let your pencil draw it.
