A bird dreams of the sky so high, Aware she’ll never touch the sky. Yet wings spread wide, she soars away, Leaving earth far behind each day.
In dawn’s light and dusk’s soft glow, We chant God’s names in reverent flow. Seeking His essence, though far it seems, In faith we find our spirit’s dreams.
Though we may never reach the height, In flight and prayer, we find our light.
We seek the unseen, forever anew, Craving the fresh, the unexplored view. To yearn once more what’s already found, Is a longing rarely profound.
Yet, one quest remains, constant, unbending, For truth, we search, never-ending. Even when grasped, it eludes our sight, A perpetual chase through day and night.
In this vast world, where life does bloom, Each being has its space, its room. No right have we to cause them pain, In heart or soul, or leaf and vein.
A creature’s cry, a whisper soft, From soaring bird to roots aloft, Speaks of a bond we must protect, With love and care, and deep respect.
For every life, both small and grand, Deserves a gentle, guiding hand. So let us tread with tender grace, In every heart, in every place.
