The Way

The truth is here, before our eyes,  
Right under our noses, where it lies.  
So simple, every child sees it clear,  
Yet, as mother said, it’s deeper the farther.  
Where is the way to the Way?  
A question we ponder, come what may.

Duality

Gentle breezes whisper soft,
Cyclones roar with might aloft.
After the fierce winds blow away,  
Quiet fills each open space,  
Leaves in stillness, cease their sway.
Have you seen such quivering grace
what does it do to your belief in race

Duty

Putting all heart and soul,  
Pouring every ounce of energy whole,  
Toiling through night and day,  
Building wealth and fame along the way.  

Thinking it was all for them,  
You turn, expecting the same respect to stem.  
But find neglect, a painful surprise,  
Wounding your mood, wounding your pride.  

It’s you who forgot the truth inside:  
Your journey is yours alone to guide.  
Be there, be present, be at it strong—  
That is your work, where you belong.
