Law of Averages!

Art of simplicity is generally driven by a set of rules of thumb.. guiding principles.  Purpose is to be focused on the need v/s want.

Some folks make it a habit to apply "the law of averages" in the disguise of practicing simplicity. Averaging is powerful to get a quick sense of "size" of something than the "quality".

It is good to be alarmed by a high average score and use it as a trigger – for the need to go down below to assess the quality – before making a choice….

Social Masks!

Masks – we all wear them – some – once in a while, some – all the time!

In societal setups, especially at work environments this is a common scene. We see it every now and then and ignore it too…. conveniently. We believe everyone wears one. So it is fine.

Laziness, an art?

It takes a lot of energy to be lazy, keep a job and not get caught.

It needs diligent planning, foresight, charm, effort, determination, intelligence, originality and understanding of the situation – same set of things needed for success in any field! Every ingredient required for a star performer!

A few folks, master this as an art and live on…. perhaps the issue is with their bosses, peers and the company who let them lead this form of life ….?
